Join us for an invasive plant removal volunteer event at Walker Park in Fayetteville on Thursday, November 21st from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm! Help us restore Spout Spring Branch and the urban forests around Walker Park & meet the Arkansas Conservation Corps crew. Learn how to identify and remove invasive plants!
All tools, equipment, water, and snacks will be provided. Feel free to bring your own water bottle! Long-sleeves and closed-toe shoes recommended. Meet at Walker Park Splash Pad parking lot @ 753 S. Block Ave. Fayetteville, AR 72701.
This event is in partnership with the US Forest Service, the Watershed Conservation Resource Center, the Northwest Arkansas Black Heritage Association, Arkansas Conservation Corps, the City of Fayetteville, Beaver Water District, Boatsetter, and Sam’s Club.
